Oriental Chicken Salad
Oriental Chicken Salad
A crispy bed
of green vegetables and vegetables covered with chicken flakes crusted with a
mustard and oriental honey vinaigrette!
Ingredients
FOR THE
SALAD:
- 1/2 cup carrots, shredded
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1/3 cup crispy chow mein noodles, optional
- sesame seeds for topping
- 1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1/2 cup red cabbage, chopped
- 4 crispy chicken fingers, sliced
FOR THE
DRESSING:
- 1/4 cup mayonaise
- 1 tsp dijon mustard
- 1/4 tbsp rice wine vinegar
- 2.5 tbsp honey
Instructions
First, If
the chicken fingers are not cooked yet, follow the instructions on the package.
Then, Mix
the romaine, cabbage, carrots and green onions in a mixing bowl to prepare the
salad
Prepare the
vinaigrette by adding all the ingredients of the vinaigrette to a bowl and
whisking until smooth
Place the
salad on a plate or bowl, add the chow mein noodles if you wish, place the
cooked chicken pieces on top and sprinkle with the desired amount of
vinaigrette. Add some sesame seeds at your convenience, which are generally
pleasant to the touch, but I think they also add to the texture that makes this
