The Best Crockpot BBQ Chicken
Honestly, I
just put about two pounds of chicken breasts, pour over the rest of the
ingredients, one at a time, and cook like that. I find that everything mixes
well during cooking.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup Italian dressing
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- salt to taste
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
Instructions
First, Lightly
season chicken brisket (a pinch of brisket) with sea salt and place in your
slow cooker.
Then, In a
bowl, combine barbecue sauce, Italian vinaigrette, brown sugar and
Worcestershire sauce. Stir until well blended.
Pour over
chicken, cover and cook on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours.
Once the
time is up, you can serve the entire breast or shred it with 2 forks. If you
shred it, collect it and cook in the sauce about 10 to 15 minutes longer to
absorb all this delicious flavor.
Serve on
rolls, on rice, in rolls, on a salad or eat a plate as is! Our favorite way is
to take fresh rolls filled with cabbage salad.
