Chicken Stuffing Bake
I love what
I do because I'm used to all the ingredients on and there are only a few
minutes left to prepare.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup cheese, grated
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 medium carrot, grated
- 1 small onion, diced
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup broccoli florets, steamed
- 1 box stuffing mix
- 1 1/2 cups chicken, cooked and shredded
Instructions
First, Preheat oven
to 400 degrees
Then, In a
bowl, mix stuffing mixture, shredded cooked chicken, onion cubes, shredded
carrot and steamed broccoli. Place combined in a greased baking dish.
In
another bowl, mix the chicken broth and soup and pour over the ingredients in
the baking dish.
Cover with
foil and bake for 30 minutes. After cooking, gently mix the contents and cover
with grated cheese. Cook another 15 minutes, uncovered this time. If you like
crispy cheese, grill it for 2 minutes.
